D'Lite™ "44" GTO™- Convertible between 22 Watts of 6V6 Power OR 44 Watts of 6L6 Power. Inspired by the elusive tone characterized as fat and smooth, with a nice bite to the top, tightly stacked harmonics, and thick lower mids and bottom. The D'Lite44 GTO is designed to deliver a tight, high-headroom clean tone and a smooth, liquid lead tone. It also delivers a wide palette of classic tones, from warm round cleans, including scooped blackface tones and shimmering crystal cleans. Aggressive power stage breakup is achieved by cranking the clean channel with the lower headroom 6V6 power section, and very smooth, liquid, saturated medium to high-gain overdrive, and varying levels of compression are easily at your fingertips. Switching of the OverDrive section is achieved by a rear panel mounted switch as well as the included 3 button foot-switch. The switchable PAB feature (Pre Amp Boost) lifts the tone stack, increasing the pre amp signal and producing a distinct volume and EQ boost, and is also contolled via back panel or footswitch. The third foot switched & back panel switched function is a MidBoost that is very useful for thickening single note lines for both single coil and humbucker guitars. Powered by (2) 6L6 Power Tubes in AB Fixed Bias producing approximately 44 Watts OR (2) 6V6 Power Tubes in AB Fixed Bias producing approximately 22 Watts, (2) 12AX7 Pre amp, and (1) 12AX7 Driver. Front Panel Controls Include: Volume, 3-way Bright Switch, Mid Scoop Switch, Bass Boost Switch, Treble, Midrange, Bass, OD Drive, OD Level, Master Volume, Presence. The back panel consists of AC Mains, Fuse, Bias Test Points, Speaker Impedance Selector, Speaker Outputs, OverDrive Switch, Pre-Amp Boost Switch, Mid-Boost Switch, & Foot Switch Connector. 6V6/6L6 Switch mounted on bottom of chassis. Pull & Swap Tubes: Swap between 6V6 & 6L6. Flip the switch to select between 22W/6V6 or 44W/6L6. User Serviceable Bias Adjust: Test Points located on back panel. Bias adjust potentiometer located under chassis. Foot Switching and Passive Series FX Loop are standard and Buffered/Active FX loop is available as an option. International voltage available: 100V,120V,220V,230V/240V. The D'Lite44 GTO is also available as a head with optional companion 1x12 open back extension cab, Closed Back/Front Ported 1x12 or a 1x12 combo with your choice of speaker. |
